This video series ‘Liquid Purgatory’ features the site-specific installation with video I wish to explore in the research and the design of the performances of the characters interacting with them. Previously, my practices were presented in response to architectural characteristics in the exhibition space, utilizing objects and moving images extracted from the city space where I existed. In this project I am developing the moving images and installations of these practices into elements that physically reproduce the space expressed in the drawing. In addition, I am developing a moving image in which the narrative proceeds by arranging the characters in the moving images of the installation that I present. I am presenting a project like this in the installation space I produced. I plan to disguise the characters appearing in the installation that are separated from the real world, similar to the transformed characters of ‘Utopian Complex’ which was equipped with building shapes.
